Job Overview

As a Principal DevOps Engineer at Veracode, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure to support Veracode's applications and services.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Lead infrastructure as code initiatives using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures across the deployment pipelines.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive best practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles with a strong background in software development.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

Technologies & Tools
