The Principal DevOps Engineer for Visual Builder at Oracle will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the deployment, automation, and monitoring of our cloud applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines for the Visual Builder platform.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve software deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Conduct performance testing and optimization for applications running on the cloud.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in DevOps culture and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster team collaboration to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new tools and technologies as relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Expertise in using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with cloud service providers, particularly Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal DevOps Engineer will work with a range of modern technologies and tools, including but not limited to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and various monitoring solutions.
