Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust DevOps strategies to improve the quality and speed of software delivery.
• Lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize infrastructure for both production and development environments.
• Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to align on best practices and strategies.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently to ensure optimal operation.
• Champion security best practices in all aspects of system design and implementation.
• Mentor and train junior DevOps engineers on advanced methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Proven experience in monitoring tools and log management solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal DevOps Engineer will work with a wide array of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Git, Ansible, and various monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is also beneficial as well as understanding of microservices architecture.
