Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring solutions that provide real-time insights into application performance and reliability.
• Lead the efforts towards application-centric observability, ensuring that key metrics and logs are captured and analyzed.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability in the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Establish best practices for incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
• Ensure uptime and performance objectives are met, responding to alerts and automating resolution processes where possible.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Expertise in monitoring and logging solutions, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar technologies.
• Advanced scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure effectively.
