Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architectures that meet product requirements.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define new features and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Expertise in building and maintaining APIs, particularly RESTful services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal Software Engineer, Backend will work with a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins for CI/CD, relational and non-relational databases, and version control systems such as Git.
