Clari is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for our Cloud Platform team who will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of cloud-based applications and services.
• Drive the implementation of best practices in cloud infrastructure, security, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical specifications.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to proactively address and resolve operational issues.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in cloud-based development.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Proven track record in designing scalable systems with a focus on high availability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal Software Engineer will be working with cutting-edge technologies and tools, including but not limited to Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, serverless architectures, and databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB will also be essential to effectively deliver robust solutions within our cloud platform.
