Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure solutions to support AI operations.
• Lead security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Develop monitoring and incident response protocols to ensure system reliability and security.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive initiatives for automation of security and operational processes.
• Communicate security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to AI and security.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proven experience in security best practices and methodologies, particularly in AI environments.
• Extensive knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a variety of advanced technologies and tools including cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, container orchestration software like Kubernetes, CI/CD tools for automated deployments, and security assessment tools tailored for AI systems. Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus or Grafana, as well as logging tools such as ELK Stack, is also essential for maintaining system integrity and reliability.
