Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of AI security protocols and reliability strategies.
• Design, automate, and maintain scalable and highly available systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security while driving continuous improvement through incident reviews and postmortems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, architecture, and capacity planning.
• Develop and maintain SRE metrics, reporting, and dashboards to enforce accountability and track performance goals.
• Mentor and guide junior SRE staff by sharing knowledge and best practices related to AI and system security.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and troubleshoot production issues effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles, with a focus on AI security.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Extensive experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Deep understanding of network security protocols and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Technologies & Tools

In the role of Principal SRE, candidates will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, monitoring and logging software such as Prometheus and Grafana, as well as security frameworks to ensure compliance and safeguard our AI systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible will also be beneficial.
