Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions for AI systems.
• Monitor system performance and security metrics to proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain operational excellence processes, including incident management and response protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery processes and improve reliability.
• Lead the automation of system operational processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Implement best practices for AI security, governance, and compliance within production environments.
• Mentor junior SREs and engineering teams on reliability and security principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong background in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.).
• Deep understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and system architecture.
• Experience in implementing observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will utilize a range of modern technologies and tools, including but not limited to Kubernetes for orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting, and various CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment. Familiarity with AI frameworks and tooling will also be beneficial to effectively address security measures within AI applications.
