Overview

As a Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) focused on AI Security at Jobot, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our security posture as we build next-generation AI solutions in a startup environment. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security frameworks that support robust AI applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security within the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor systems for security breaches and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Automate manual processes for improving system reliability and scaling.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate security protocols.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior SREs and other team members.
• Engage with stakeholders to shape best practices in AI security and establish compliance protocols.
• Respond to incidents and manage escalated cases within a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, software development, or a related field, with a focus on security.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Demonstrated experience in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptographic technologies, and relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a variety of advanced technologies and tools including, but not limited to, cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, configuration management systems like Terraform and Ansible, as well as monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Familiarity with AI frameworks and languages (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) will be an added advantage to align with our AI development lifecycle.
