Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of system reliability and security protocols across all AI-related services.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to enhance application performance and reliability.
• Establish and maintain SRE best practices, including automated testing, incident response, and postmortem analysis.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor system performance and respond to potential disruptions or vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security controls and automation into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment of features.
• Advise on architectural decisions and technology adoption that impact system reliability and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system availability and support incident response efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, with a focus on operational security.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and threat modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE role will work with a robust suite of technologies and tools including cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, Docker), monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), and security frameworks designed to protect AI applications.
