Overview

The Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for AI Security at Jobot will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our AI-driven applications. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure for AI security applications.
• Oversee system configurations and optimize system performance to support AI operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve reliability issues.
• Implement best practices in security for cloud-based applications.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to ensure ongoing service health and reliability.
• Conduct security assessments and threat modeling for AI systems.
• Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior SREs and promote a culture of learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Expertise in security best practices and tools relevant to AI applications.
• Previous experience in managing large-scale distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, AWS or Google Cloud for cloud services, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Additionally, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI will be important for ensuring efficient deployment practices and maintaining consistent quality across our applications.
