Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure for AI applications.
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure the reliability and security of services.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to ensure security practices are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability assessments on AI systems.
• Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures pertaining to AI security.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance the current systems based on AI advancements and security trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of security principles as they apply to AI architectures.
• Proficiency in cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technology, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages including Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a diverse array of technologies and tools including cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack), as well as security assessment tools aimed at evaluating AI systems. An understanding of networking, databases, and AI-specific frameworks useful in securing AI deployments is also crucial.
