Overview

Jobot is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in AI Security for our innovative startup environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our AI applications and systems. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust SRE practices focusing on AI Security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and secure deployment of applications.
• Monitor system health and performance using advanced observability tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks.
• Lead incident response efforts, performing post-mortems and implementing preventive measures.
• Establish and maintain service level objectives (SLOs) and expectations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SREs in the team.
• Staying current with industry trends in reliability engineering and AI security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as an SRE or in a similar role, with a focus on AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of site reliability engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and frameworks in AI and machine learning.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a variety of technologies and tools including cloud services such as AWS and Azure, container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker, CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with networking concepts and security protocols, along with experience in scripting and automation, will be essential for this role.
