Overview of Responsibilities

The Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Jobot will play a pivotal role in enhancing our AI Security infrastructure within a dynamic startup environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the reliability and security of all operational systems. Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall reliability and availability of AI security systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection of incidents.
• Participate in incident response, conducting post-mortem analyses and defining preventive measures.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security considerations throughout the development process.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability of operations.
• Design and implement scalable service architectures that prioritize security and performance.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior SRE team members.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies that enhance operational stability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, or Shell scripting).
• Excellent understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols and practices, especially within AI systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to identify and mitigate risks.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a variety of modern technologies and tools essential for maintaining operational efficiency and security. Key technologies include Kubernetes for container orchestration, AWS for cloud infrastructure, Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, and Terraform for infrastructure as code. Additionally, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI is highly desirable. An understanding of AI frameworks and security tools will also be beneficial for the role.
