Job Overview

The Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Jobot will take on a pivotal role in enhancing and securing our AI-driven solutions within the fast-paced startup environment. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable systems to support AI applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to introduce efficiency and security enhancements in development and deployment processes.
• Monitor system health and performance; diagnose issues proactively and respond effectively to incidents.
• Develop and enforce best practices for system reliability and security, focusing on AI security measures.
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Work closely with product management to align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles, with a strong emphasis on systems security.
• Proven experience in managing and deploying cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Deep understanding of AI technologies and security implications associated with them.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will utilize a diverse set of technologies and tools including but not limited to Kubernetes for container orchestration, Docker for containerization, AWS, or other cloud platforms for scalable infrastructure, monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, security management applications relevant to AI, version control systems like Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate workflows efficiently.
