Job Overview

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specialized in AI Security to join our dynamic startup environment. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust reliability and security practices for scalable AI systems.
• Monitor system performance and reliability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborate with software development teams to establish a culture of DevOps and SRE principles.
• Lead incident response, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best SRE practices, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Develop and manage service-level objectives (SLOs) to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Evaluate and integrate security tools and technologies to strengthen the overall infrastructure.
• Document processes and incidents to enhance operational awareness and improve response protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a comparable role.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of AI security protocols, risk assessments, and compliance standards.
• Expertise in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive mentality.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with a diverse array of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS and Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration with Kubernetes, monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, as well as security frameworks tailored for AI applications. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools is also beneficial.
