Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available systems to ensure operational reliability.
• Develop and automate processes and workflows using CI/CD practices, monitoring, and incident response.
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct root cause analysis for outages and incidents with a focus on continual improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance system performance and security posture.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge-sharing across the organization.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess service performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• In-depth understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security protocols and policies.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, with a focus on customer impact.

Technologies & Tools

The Principal SRE will work with various technologies and tools essential for maintaining and securing our AI systems. These include cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), monitoring and logging solutions (such as Prometheus and ELK stack), as well as infrastructure as code tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
