Job Description

Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, one-on-one skilled nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinically focused care based on individualized care plans
  • Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
  • Administer medications and provide skilled nursing interventions
  • Manage ventilators and tracheostomies
  • Provide wound care
  • Educate patients and families on care needs and treatment
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Document care and clinical findings in electronic health records

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current RN licensure
  • Strong clinical nursing judgment and patient-centered communication
  • Experience/competence with complex needs (e.g., trach/vent care) preferred
  • Ability to work independently in the home setting
  • Comfort with electronic documentation and care-plan adherence
