Program Security Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Program Security Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will oversee program security planning and execution for complex defense and industrial operations, with a strong focus on protecting people, facilities, information, and mission-critical activities. The position partners closely with leadership, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure security requirements are translated into practical day-to-day controls. It also supports compliance, risk mitigation, and emergency preparedness across the program.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $103,500 – $181,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Program Security Plan and related procedures
• Advise leadership on security risks and corrective actions
• Coordinate security requirements with various stakeholders
• Administer personnel and site-access processes
• Manage visitor requests and restricted-area controls
• Conduct security inspections and compliance reviews
• Support emergency preparedness and continuity planning
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in security management or a related field
• Experience in large defense or industrial security programs
• Strong knowledge of physical and personnel security protocols
• Ability to interpret and implement security requirements effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
