Overview

The QA Automation Software Engineer at WebstaurantStore is responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our innovative software products. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and document testing requirements.
• Identify defects and facilitate their resolution through research and analysis.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and detailed reports.
• Continuously improve and optimize the existing automation framework and testing processes.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices in QA automation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to software quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
