Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate testing tools; ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics and generate insightful reports for management review.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback on user stories, requirements, and testability.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles, preferably within the mortgage or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in software testing tools and defect tracking systems.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Possession of relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

Technologies & Tools
