Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Identify, record, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, technical specifications, and other documentation.
• Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort in regression testing.
• Collaborate with development and product management teams to understand system requirements and use cases.
• Conduct performance and load testing to assess application responsiveness and stability under pressure.
• Provide regular status reports on test progress and issues to project stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior QA team members in best practices and testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate issues and results.

Technologies & Tools
