About The Role

We are seeking a Principal Recruiter to join our Core Recruiting team within People Success. This team is responsible for hiring across Coinbase’s General & Administrative (G&A) functions. As a Principal Recruiter, you will manage full-lifecycle recruiting for some of our most challenging and senior-level roles. You will work closely with senior leaders to understand their talent needs, develop strong candidate pipelines, and implement process improvements to enhance the recruiting team’s scalability and effectiveness. This role requires a strategic mindset, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to innovate recruiting processes across global markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Proven success in closing senior and hard-to-attract candidates
• Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets
• Deep understanding of the entire candidate lifecycle, including talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, and closing
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management and ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
  
  

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from role intake through closing for complex, senior-level searches within your Core portfolio
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research to ensure depth and quality at every stage
• Partner with senior leaders to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies and deliver a strong candidate and interviewer experience
• Drive data integrity and utilize pipeline analytics to improve hiring efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and enhance outcomes
• Design and implement recruiting processes and pilot programs that enable the team to scale its impact globally
