Job Overview

As a Redhat Systems Engineer at Vinsys Information Technology Inc., you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Red Hat-based systems and solutions within various environments. Job Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in various environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures for operating systems and applications.
• Develop and automate operational processes, including system monitoring and maintenance routines.
• Collaborate with development teams to support deployment and management of applications in Red Hat environments.
• Document processes and procedures, including configurations, disaster recovery plans, and operational manuals.
• Participate in technical reviews and provide guidance on system design and architecture.
• Act as a point of contact for system-related escalations and provide timely resolutions to service requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering and administration with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, system security, and best practices.
• Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Certification in Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
