Reference Data Tech Lead - Asset Management - Contract to Hire (Hybrid)

Would you be interested in taking the lead on innovative reference data systems within the asset management space?

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of reference data systems supporting investment management and front-office workflows.

You’ll drive technical architecture, build backend services and data pipelines using C#/.NET and Python, and work across microservices, messaging platforms, APIs and multiple database technologies. You’ll also use AI tools and LLMs to improve delivery, data quality and entity resolution while collaborating with business and technology teams.

We’re looking for proven experience building security master/reference data systems or organization static data platforms, strong data modelling and engineering skills, and knowledge of securities and credit instruments such as loans, bonds and CLOs. Experience with Azure, Snowflake, security identifiers and private credit or alternative asset data would be an advantage.

They'll need someone who's fully authorized to work in the US without any sponsorship / visa (cannot support H-1B visa).

C2C must be through your own LLC (CANNOT be through an employer) and if need be we can do W2 at a reduced rate.
