Overview

RemoteWorker US is seeking a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Kafka and Kong to join our remote team. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions utilizing Kafka and Kong.
• Automate and optimize deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, analyzing logs and metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between systems and services.
• Implement security best practices across all platforms and applications.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Document processes, configurations, and system architecture for team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Kafka and Kong.
• Solid experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
