About the Opportunity:

The REMOTE Senior Platform Software Engineer is responsible for managing moderately complex components of platform services or SDKs and leading improvements in integration frameworks and developer tooling. This role impacts the organization by ensuring resilient, performant backend services and APIs, driving fixes, and enhancing developer productivity through AI-assisted engineering methods.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend services and APIs for health-related product teams.
• Manage feature delivery from requirements through deployment and operational support.
• Participate in code and design reviews, contributing to best engineering practices.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, including on-call and incident response duties.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as SRE, Security, Product, and engineering.
• Produce and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Maintain enterprise security and privacy standards when using AI tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more languages (Java, C#, Go, Python) and experience with REST or gRPC services.
• Knowledge of data stores (RDBMS/NoSQL) and fundamentals of distributed systems.
• Experience with source control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of enterprise security and privacy requirements in AI tooling use.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• US hiring range from $87,800 to $209,500 per annum, may be eligible for bonus and equity.
