Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems for our e-commerce platform.
• Monitor system health through various performance metrics and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve downtime incidents swiftly, minimizing the impact on users.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure that best practices are followed in the code deployment process.
• Automate routine operational tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce human error.
• Participate in system design reviews, providing input on feasibility and operational considerations.
• Conduct root cause analyses for service interruptions, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles within the retail e-commerce industry.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and relevant tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in remote teams.
