Revenue Manager

Hotel: Sarovar Portico Sriperumbudur, Chennai

Location: Sriperumbudur, Chennai

Reports To: General Manager / Corporate Revenue Team

Job Purpose

To maximise the hotel’s revenue, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR through effective pricing strategies, demand forecasting, market analysis and distribution channel management, with a focus on the corporate, industrial and commercial markets of Sriperumbudur and Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimise room revenue, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, booking patterns and demand forecasts to make informed pricing decisions.
• Prepare revenue forecasts, budgets, pickup reports and performance analysis, identifying opportunities to achieve business targets.
• Manage room rates, inventory and availability across OTAs, brand websites, GDS and other distribution channels.
• Coordinate with Sales, Reservations, Front Office and the Corporate Revenue Team to optimise business opportunities and improve profitability.
• Analyse corporate accounts, group bookings, long-stay business and other key segments to recommend appropriate pricing strategies.
• Monitor channel performance, rate parity and distribution costs to improve the hotel’s overall revenue mix.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend corrective actions to improve market share and revenue generation.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in hotel Revenue Management is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of hotel pricing, forecasting, inventory management and distribution channels.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and revenue management systems/tools.
• Strong analytical, commercial and communication skills.
• Experience in the corporate and industrial feeder markets of Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, SIPCOT or Chennai will be preferred.
• Candidates based in Sriperumbudur, Chennai or nearby locations will be preferred.
• Candidates from other locations may apply if they are willing to relocate to Sriperumbudur, Chennai.
