Role Description The Sales Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Berkley, MI. This position is responsible for assisting customers in person and by phone, answering product questions, preparing quotes, and processing orders accurately in the company’s systems. The role includes coordinating with warehouse and installation teams, scheduling deliveries or service appointments, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues. The Sales Service Representative collaborates with colleagues to maintain showroom displays, update product information, and support promotional activities. Daily work involves handling payments, maintaining organized records, and contributing to a professional, welcoming customer environment.
Qualifications

• Customer service and sales skills, including active listening, relationship building, and a professional, service-oriented approach.
• Basic administrative and computer skills, such as using point-of-sale systems, managing orders, and working with email and office software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and follow through on commitments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotes, processing transactions, and maintaining documentation.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Berkley, MI, including standing, walking the showroom, and occasionally lifting or moving products as needed.
• Prior experience in retail, home improvement, construction supply, or a similar customer-facing environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in sales, customer service, or related fields is a plus.
