Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed CPO Patrol Accountability in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including banking offices, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• CPO certification is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
