Security Officer (overnight)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site overnight Security Officer role located in Palm Beach, FL. The Security Officer will monitor assigned premises, including performing regular patrols, controlling access points, and observing security cameras and alarm systems throughout the shift. The role includes responding to incidents, documenting observations, and completing detailed reports on safety concerns, unusual activity, and any security breaches. The Security Officer will interact professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while upholding site rules and regulations. Additional responsibilities may include conducting safety checks, coordinating with local emergency services when necessary, and following all Echo Security Group policies and post orders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in site patrols, access control, and surveillance monitoring to maintain safety and security.
• Ability to complete clear, accurate incident and shift reports, with strong observation and documentation skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients, visitors, and team members in a professional manner.
• Capacity to remain alert and responsive during overnight shifts, including managing stressful or emergency situations calmly.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and applicable safety regulations.
• Florida security officer license (or eligibility to obtain), with a clean background and reliable work history.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods and, when required, respond quickly to incidents.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
• Comfort with using radios, security systems, and basic computer applications for logging reports and communicating updates.
