Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Operations in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, documenting entries and exits, and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required reports.
• Observe for conditions that may affect operations or personnel, report hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations through established procedures, and support emergency evacuation or response activities when directed.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
