Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor or contractor activity; verify access authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and irregular conditions clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
