About This Role

Olezka Global is a Texas based managed security services provider delivering 24/7 SOC, MDR, networking, and professional services to clients in education, banking, manufacturing, energy, and municipal government. We are looking for a senior accountant who brings both strong accounting fundamentals and a genuine understanding of how technology services businesses make money. We want someone who understands recurring revenue models, managed services contracts, and the metrics that drive a services business, and who will actively improve how our finance function operates. You will own the books, but you will also help build better processes, strengthen compliance, set and track revenue goals, and produce reporting that gives leadership and sales a clear picture of where the business stands and where it is headed. The right person is curious, process minded, comfortable with modern accounting platforms and automation, and confident enough to recommend changes rather than simply maintain the status quo.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full cycle bookkeeping and accounting, including AR, AP, billing, and reconciliations
  • Own recurring revenue billing for managed services contracts and verify accuracy each cycle
  • Track and report key services metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, gross margin by service line, and customer concentration
  • Lead the month end close and produce timely, accurate financial statements
  • Partner with leadership to set revenue goals and build annual budgets and forecasts
  • Create sales reporting that measures performance against targets and supports pipeline and quota planning
  • Identify, design, and implement improvements to accounting workflows, controls, and automation
  • Manage Texas sales and use tax, Texas franchise tax, and multistate tax obligations as the business grows
  • Support compliance and audit readiness, including SOC 1 and SOC 2 related financial controls
  • Coordinate with outside CPAs on tax preparation, filings, and year end work
  • Advise on contract billing structures and revenue recognition for new service offerings

Required Qualifications

  • Must reside in Texas
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including time at a technology, MSP, SaaS, or professional services company
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue and subscription or managed services billing models
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
  • Solid understanding of federal and Texas tax requirements, including sales and use tax on technology services
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and building management reports
  • Proven track record of improving processes, not just maintaining them
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial results to non accountants

A Day in the Life

Your week starts with a look at cash position, receivables, and what is due on both sides of the ledger. You verify that recurring invoices generated correctly for our managed services clients, follow up on aging balances, and make sure project and professional services billing is accurate and on time. Midweek you might be building a revenue forecast with leadership, preparing a sales performance report against quarterly targets, or reviewing a new client contract to determine how it should be billed and recognized. You spend time looking for friction in our processes, whether that is a manual step that could be automated, a billing inconsistency across customer accounts, or a reporting gap that leaves leadership guessing. At month end you close the books, reconcile accounts, and prepare the financial package: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and margin analysis by service line. Throughout the year you keep us on track with sales tax, franchise tax, payroll tax coordination, and audit readiness, working with our outside CPA and compliance team as needed.

A full-time year is 2,080 hours: $20 an hour is $41,600 a year before taxes, and $50,000 a year is $24.04 an hour. Pay calculator →
