Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support application development and maintenance.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
• Ensure security and compliance of all AWS solutions by following best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Document processes, architectures, and designs to facilitate ease of maintenance and replication.
• Participate in on-call support rotations to address critical incidents and outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related positions, with a focus on AWS environments.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, the Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform components such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
