Job Responsibilities

• Conduct capacity planning and workload optimization to improve resource utilization.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members in the implementation of Azure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure services, including IaC (Infrastructure as Code), DevOps practices, and cloud security.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are strongly preferred.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will leverage a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Azure services (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management, Terraform or ARM templates for Infrastructure as Code, as well as monitoring and security tools such as Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center. Familiarity with networking concepts, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and automation frameworks will also be essential in this role.
