The Maxis Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud networking solutions to support corporate applications and services. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Azure-based networking solutions to support cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot network performance to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with security teams to establish and maintain network security policies and protocols.
• Provide guidance on best practices for cloud architecture and network design.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and guidelines for future reference.
• Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning of Azure cloud networking services.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering with a significant focus on cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience with Azure networking services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure VPN Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and Azure Firewall.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall operations.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python preferred).
• Relevant Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Networking Specialist, are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Azure Cloud Network Engineer will work extensively with several technologies and tools, including but not limited to Azure Cloud services, Azure Virtual Network (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Bastion, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Traffic Manager, and various scripting and automation tools. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and third-party solutions may also be utilized to ensure optimal performance and security of the network infrastructure.
