Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications in the Azure GovCloud environment.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and security of cloud resources to ensure compliance with US government standards.
• Collaborate with development and operational teams to automate deployment processes and improve delivery efficiency.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies.
• Support incident resolution and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Document processes, procedures, and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud operations, preferably within a government or regulated environment.
• Proven expertise in Azure DevOps and Azure services, with certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert being highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
