Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.
• Automate deployment processes and manage environment configurations.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
• Ensure security best practices are followed for both applications and infrastructure.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in Azure DevOps practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps and cloud computing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Proficient in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure platform, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ARM templates, and monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Familiarity with source control management systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket will also be part of the daily adjustments in this role.
