Job Overview

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Dice, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to support our organization's strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud architectures across various platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to build, deploy, and manage applications using cloud services.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of cloud services.
• Develop and enforce cloud-based standards, guidelines, and strategies.
• Lead efforts in cloud migration projects and provide technical mentorship to team members.
• Monitor systems for compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Research and evaluate new cloud technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will leverage a variety of cloud technologies and tools, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform for infrastructure automation, and Docker for containerization. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, as well as monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana, will also be beneficial for ensuring that our cloud environments operate smoothly and efficiently.
