Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud architecture to support various applications and services.
• Optimize cloud solutions for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications efficiently.
• Monitor cloud environments and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services that enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure cloud security standards are met and maintained throughout infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management in cloud environments.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are preferred.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Cloud Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, Docker for containerization, and Kubernetes for orchestration.
