Job Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms.
• Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure to enhance performance and ensure uptime.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks to streamline cloud operations and development processes.
• Develop cloud architecture and processes that align with company objectives for security and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and support for cloud-related initiatives across departments.
• Conduct cost analysis, forecasting, and optimization strategies for cloud expenses.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of cloud service models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.) are preferred.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Cloud Engineer will work with various technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform for cloud services, Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code, Docker and Kubernetes for container management, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for performance tracking.
