Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
• Define best practices for cloud security and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Conduct regular system audits and maintenance of cloud resources.
• Work with stakeholders to define and refine infrastructure requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Stay updated with cloud technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, preferably with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and cloud-related security best practices.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.
• Certifications related to cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.) are highly desirable.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work extensively with various cloud services and technologies including, but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI. Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native security tools will also be beneficial in this role.
