Overview

The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer - Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Get It Recruit - Information Technology will play a critical role in sustaining the performance, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based systems. The individual will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure while fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement. The SRE will collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy best practices in site reliability engineering, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of availability and performance for all stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure that supports application deployment.
• Implement and manage monitoring, metrics collection, and alerting systems for cloud services.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve deployment processes to enhance system reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to define Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root cause analysis for service outages and develop strategies to mitigate future risks.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability and timely incident response.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve the overall cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud operations or site reliability engineering.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, including Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
