BCforward looking for Cloud Data Engineer in Plano, TX
Title: Sr. Data Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 8 months contract to hire
Required Skillset:
- Java or python (either spark java or PySpark)
- Spark technology (5 years) w./ cloud integration (AWS)
- Airflow (using Control M as well)
- AWS (EMR Clusters) or DataBricks – any distributed platform
- SOR (snowflake)
- Datasets (in databricks)
- Relational – need to be able to write a query
Skills (Nice to have):
- Flex on NoSQL
- Bottom of list - Experience with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) practices, as well as working with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
