Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS services.
• Automate system and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring optimal resource utilization and availability.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure meets the needs of all applications and services.
• Implement security best practices across AWS and Kubernetes environments to safeguard sensitive data.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
• Conduct regular system audits and optimize cloud spending through effective resource management.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps practices, preferably within a government or defense contracting environment.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, including cluster management and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Must hold a current Top Secret clearance.
