Job Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Certara, you will be an integral part of our technology team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across multiple providers ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions that align with business needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, providing enhancements as necessary.
• Implement security best practices across the deployment environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of systems and applications.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution for critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related technical roles.
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience managing cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, load balancing, and web server architecture.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
