Drake Software is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and various DevOps practices. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating the software delivery process from development to production.
• Monitor system performance, responding to and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with software developers and system operators to understand and refine operational needs.
• Ensure the security and compliance of systems and services through practical application of best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and applications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually optimize and improve the DevOps processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Proven experience with cloud service platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior DevOps Engineer position at Drake Software will engage with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS or Azure for cloud services, Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration, Jenkins and GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment, as well as Terraform for infrastructure as code.
